Skill Developmet / Vocation training course
Skill Development Course – Student Guidelines
As per the directions of the University, all undergraduate students are required to complete one Skill Development Course as part of their academic programme.
Mode of Skill Development Course at the College
The College provides Skill Development Courses on the college campus with the support of an approved Skill Training Partner.
Both theory and practical training are conducted through this collaborative model.
At present, the College offers Computer-based Skill Development Courses only.
Option to Learn Through SWAYAM (MOOCs)
Students who wish to pursue any other skill course of their choice may enroll independently on the SWAYAM portal (https://swayam.gov.in).
However, such students must note the following mandatory requirements:
The student must complete the course successfully on the SWAYAM platform.
The student must appear in the examination and obtain the SWAYAM certificate.
The SWAYAM certificate must be submitted to the College within the prescribed time for credit transfer and record updating.
Failure to submit the SWAYAM certificate will result in the student being marked ABSENT in the Skill Development Course for that semester/year, as per University regulations.
Important Note
Enrollment in a SWAYAM course does not automatically grant credit. Credits will be awarded only after verification of the valid certificate by the College/University.
Students are advised to choose their Skill Development pathway carefully and ensure timely compliance with all academic requirements.
